Family Fun

My cousin, Dee,  that lives in Mexico came to NYC for a little vaca…it was actually 10 days so perhaps it was a nice and lengthy vaca.  We don’t see each other often so it was nice to spend time together. She teaches theater to teenagers so she was all about going to as many shows as she could while visiting. Together we saw How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying with Nick Jonas. I didn’t even know he was in it until getting the Playbill. Haha. He did a great job and the show was very entertaining.

When Dee wasn’t sitting in a theater chair, I tried to show her parts of NYC she hasn’t seen…Brooklyn being one of the spots.

FOOD was also very important! I made a list of all the places she needed to go.

A few days into the trip, her parents that live in North Carolina met Dee in NY. The rest of my family that lives on Long Island also came into the city to spend a day together. FAMILY REUNION! We went to the Museum of Natural History and took a stroll in Central Park.

We said goodbye because it was time for a road trip! We took a 3 1/2 hour drive to Jefferson, NY. We spent time with my cousin who is pregnant with her second child. Keegan is her firstborn and he is the cutest thing ever. He showed us the chickens and how he feeds them.

I had a very fun filled family week as you can see  🙂
