Baby {E}

Lets welcome Baby {E} into the world! I had the honor to photograph her at 5 days old. How precious is she!? Karyn contacted me when she was 15 weeks pregnant and updated me throughout her pregnancy of when Baby {E} would be delivered. Planning is key! When the time came, I was so excited to meet Baby {E}. I also was greeted by her bodyguard, Shea, the family dog. Shea made sure I handled the new addition with care.

I always like to grab items around the house and use them as props.  This just makes the image even more special to the parents. Karyn told me that she wanted to incorporate a very special blanket into the session. She explained that her mother-in-law started to make a blanket for Baby {E} but was not able to finish it because she passed away in June. However, she was able to find a friend that finished the blanket and they even put a tag on the blanket saying “Made with love, Grandma.” That just melted my heart.  I was also touched by this because I lost my dad a month after my wedding day. He was in the hospital the day of my wedding and was never able to walk me down the isle.. It is hard to lose a parent especially during huge milestones in your life. I am sorry for their loss and I hope that the pictures of Baby {E} and her blanket bring them happiness.
